Southbend P32A-HT Description
This 125,000 BTU heavy-duty commercial gas range packs a 16" hot top, a 16" griddle, and a convection oven in one convenient unit. With stainless steel construction on most components including the front and sides, the exterior bottom, and the 6" adjustable legs, this unit can keep up with the daily hustle and bustle of the kitchen.
There are four (4) burners powering the griddle, operating at a total of up to 80,000 BTU and controlled via two (2) manual control hi-lo knobs. At a high setting, the plate can get as hot as 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The plate is 1" thick to retain heat well, which in turn shaves off precious time needed for recovery and preheat. There are splash guards around the rear and sides so nearby surfaces and equipment won't get splashes or splatters. The hot top adds another 32,000 BTU via its two (2) burners. The steel plates are removable steel and can reach temperatures up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit. The front of the cooktop has a 9.25" deep rail that you can use as extra workspace.
The convection oven on this commercial range is powered by a 45,000 BTU burner with a standing pilot. It has three (3) racks so you can cook multiple containers of food at a time. You can count on the two-speed fan to bring the hot air to each one so everything comes out uniformly baked in no time. You can set the exact temperature for each recipe using the "insta-on" thermostat controls, which support 175 degrees to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The interior of the oven is porcelain enamel so cleaning is made even easier.
The lining and burner box are fully insulated to promote an efficient operation and keep temperatures consistent. The 5" stainless steel flue riser draws the heat and smoke from the unit away from the user and heat and smoke and towards the ventilation hood.

Construction
- Exterior Finish: Front, sides, rear and exterior bottom constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel.
- Front Rail: 9-1/4" deep front rail.
- Flue Riser: 5" high stainless steel flue riser
- Battery: Unit can be in any position in a battery. If the unit is at the end of the battery, the end side will be solid (rather than have a coverplate over the end of the front manifold).
- Legs: 6" stainless steel adjustable legs standard.
- Model 32A: 45,000 BTU NAT (45,000 BTU LP) convection oven with standing pilot and thermostat range of 175°F to 550°F (79°C to 288°C). Porcelain enamel interior, measuring 14” high x 26” wide x 24” deep. Three racks with five-position side rails. Two-speed, 1/2 hp blower motor.
