Southbend P32A-XT Description
This heavy-duty commercial gas range is a cooking powerhouse that adds a 16" griddle, two (2) 45,000 BTU open burners, and a convection oven to a single space in your kitchen. Designed for long service life, this unit has stainless steel front, sides, and 6" legs, which can be adjusted to fit uneven floors.
The open burners are clog-free so spills from pots and pans can be easily removed before obstructing the gas flow. The removable cast iron top grates retain heat for longer periods, so you spend less time waiting for the unit to recover and preheat as you use it. The 16" griddle is perfect for burgers and breakfast favorites with its 1" thick plate that also offers amazing heat retention for fast cooking. It is thermostatically controlled so you can set the temperature of the surface between 180 degrees Fahrenheit and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The front is a 9.25" deep rail that you can use for additional work.
The convection oven has a 45,000 BTU burner with a standing pilot plus three (3) racks to hold a good volume of food for bulk cooking. The food should bake evenly no matter where it is placed inside the chamber, thanks to the two-speed fan that distributes hot air all around. The "insta-on" thermostat controls also let you program the precise temperature you want to bake in between the 175-degree and 550-degree Fahrenheit range. The oven interior is porcelain enamel, making it easy to find and wipe off the grime.
The lining and burner box come fully insulated to make the operation as efficient as possible. The 5" stainless steel flue riser pulls the heat and smoke away from the user and towards the ventilation hood.

Construction
- Exterior Finish: Front, sides, rear and exterior bottom constructed of #3 polished 430 and 304 stainless steel.
- Front Rail: 9-1/4" deep front rail.
- Flue Riser: 5" high stainless steel flue riser
- Battery: Unit can be in any position in a battery. If the unit is at the end of the battery, the end side will be solid (rather than have a coverplate over the end of the front manifold).
- Legs: 6" stainless steel adjustable legs standard.
- Model 32A: 45,000 BTU NAT (45,000 BTU LP) convection oven with standing pilot and thermostat range of 175°F to 550°F (79°C to 288°C). Porcelain enamel interior, measuring 14” high x 26” wide x 24” deep. Three racks with five-position side rails. Two-speed, 1/2 hp blower motor.
