Vulcan 72SS-8B24G Description
The busiest restaurants need a large range that provides users with versatility and the 72SS-8B24G Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan delivers on all counts. This restaurant-grade range features a griddle section, a large number of open top burners, and two standard ovens. This range unit is 72” wide and utilizes stainless steel construction for its sides, front, back riser, and high shelf for durability that will ensure it will serve without issue for several years.
The Endurance Series™ from Vulcan offers unrivaled performance for Restaurant Gas Ranges . For excellent durability, this range features an aluminized steel frame that’s fully MIG welded.
With eight open top burners, this range offers users a flexible platform. Vulcan’s flash tube pilot system features shrouded pilots that each cover two burners. This reduces the amount of gas the pilots consume while protecting them against spills and boilovers. The simple lift-off burners are easy to clean and accessing them is simple since the heavy-duty grates also lift-off.
To make handling food on the griddle easy it comes in at 24” wide. To eliminate hot and cold spots while providing plenty of thermal mass, this griddle features a ⅞” thick griddle plate. A 4” wide grease trough fits spatulas for the removal of excess grease and crumbs. A pull-out crumb tray holds excess grease and crumbs and is easily accessible from the front of the range.
Both standard ovens in this range have a 26-⅜” wide opening and full baker’s depth, each cavity has two oven racks with four positions. The oven bottoms and door panels feature porcelain for insulation. These ovens have thermostats that can be set from 250°F to 500°F.
In total, this range consumes 350,000 BTU/hr of gas.
