Vulcan 72SC-8B24GT Description
The 72SC-8B24GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan is an excellent option for restaurants that need a range with a thermostatic griddle, both standard and convection ovens as well as plenty of open top burners. With a width of 72” this range can be the centerpiece in a small kitchen or an easy addition to a large kitchen that needs to increase their output. A range this size provides users with plenty of room while maximizing the amount of cooking area available.
The Endurance Series™ from Vulcan offers unrivaled performance in the restaurant-grade range market. WIth a fully MIG welded aluminized frame, little can go wrong with this range over its lifetime. With Vulcan’s Restaurant Gas Ranges operators can be sure that the equipment in their commercial kitchen is up to the task of keeping up with peak demand without issue.
To protect against spills and boilovers, the eight open top burners on this range feature a shrouded flash tube pilot system. Each pair of burners is covered by one of these pilots which also reduces the amount of gas consumed by the system. With cast grates and lift-off burner heads, these open top burners are easy to maintain and clean.
The thermostatically controlled griddle is 24” wide providing plenty of space to work with food while maintaining the ideal temperature. The griddle plate is ⅞” thick for consistent temperature and quick recovery and a 4” wide grease trough makes it easy to manage grease and crumbs. An extra-deep pull out crumb tray is included for easy emptying.
This range comes with both convection and standard ovens for versatility. The convection oven comes with an electric blower to circulate the hot air and uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 4.0 amps. A 6’ power cord is included to connect it to a power source. The ovens are baker’s depth and have 26-⅜” openings and each has two racks. The oven cavities have separate thermostats that can be set between 250°F and 500°F.
This range has a total input of 350,000 BTU/hr.
