For restaurants that need a range that includes a charbroiler, griddle, open top burners, and two convection ovens, the Vulcan 72CC-24GT4B24CB Endurance™ Restaurant Range is an easy pick. Large establishments can easily accommodate this 72” wide range and equip them with a large amount of cooking area that will expand their capabilities. Vulcan designs these commercial gas ranges from the ground up with ergonomics and reliability in mind so users can get the results they want with as little effort as possible.
The Vulcan Endurance Series™ lineup of restaurant equipment is made up of the highest quality pieces of equipment available in the category. WIth a fully MIG welded aluminized frame, little can go wrong with this range over its lifetime. Both pairs of this range’s four open-top burners use Vulcan’s innovative flash tube pilot system. This system uses a shrouded pilot that reduces the amount of gas consumed by the range while protecting the pilot from boilovers and spills. Cleaning and maintaining the open top burners is simple thanks to the simple lift-off design on the burner heads and heavy-duty cast grates.
For precise griddling control, the 24” wide griddle features a snap action thermostat. The griddle plate is ⅞” thick for consistent temperature and quick recovery and a 4” wide grease trough makes it easy to manage grease and crumbs. An extra-deep pull out crumb tray is included for easy emptying.
To efficiently charbroil food this gas range has a 24” charbroiler with four burners with supercharger dividers. Each of the burners has its own control knob which is designed to stay cool to the touch for easy adjustment.
The convection ovens at the base of this range both have 26-⅜” openings, two oven racks per cavity give versatility by being able to be adjusted to four different positions. The blower motor in each oven circulates air efficiently using standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 4.0 amps. Connecting a blower motor to an outlet is simple with a 6’ power cord. Both ovens have thermostats that can be adjusted between 250°F and 500°F.
The gas input required by this range is 294,000 BTU/hr.
