Operators that need a reliable range that includes open top burners, a griddle, a standard oven, and a convection oven need not look further than the Vulcan 72SC-8B24G Endurance™ Restaurant Range. Users will appreciate the amount of space they get to work with thanks to this unit’s 72” width. The ergonomics of the cooktops make long busy days pass with little stress.
The Vulcan Endurance Series™ lineup of Restaurant Gas Ranges provides the highest quality equipment available in the category. WIth an aluminized frame featuring MIG welding, this unit is sure to stand up to daily use without any issue.
This range has eight open top burners and four pilots for them, one for every two burners. This is achieved with Vulcan's flash tube pilot system which protects the pilots from boilovers and spills by shrouding the pilots all while reducing the amount of gas consumed by the unit due to the reduction in the number of total pilots. Cleaning and maintaining the open top burners is simple thanks to the simple lift-off design on the burner heads and heavy-duty cast grates.
To make handling food on the griddle easy it comes in at 24” wide. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
This range comes with two ovens, one is a convection oven and the other is a standard oven. The convection oven uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 4.0 amps to power its blower, a 6-foot power cord is included with a plug to connect it to an outlet, Both ovens are baker’s depth and have 26-⅜” wide openings. Both cavities come with two racks that can be adjusted to 4 positions. Both ovens can be set to bake at temperatures between 250°F and 500°F.
This range has a total input of 350,000 BTU/hr.
