Vulcan 48S-4B24GT Description
Make the most out of the available space in your kitchen with the Vulcan 48S-4B24GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range. This restaurant-grade range comes with a burner top and a griddle section on top of a standard oven. For durability, this 48” wide model uses stainless steel construction on its high shelf, sides, front, and back riser.
Vulcan’s Endurance Series™ of Restaurant Gas Ranges offer operators with units that stand above the rest. The MIG welded aluminized steel frames make this an extremely reliable range.
Each pair of this range’s four open-top boilers use Vulcan’s innovative flash tube pilot system. This system uses a shrouded pilot that reduces the amount of gas consumed by the range while protecting the pilot from boilovers and spills. The simple lift-off burners are easy to clean and accessing them is simple since the heavy-duty grates also lift-off.
To easily set the temperature on the 24” wide griddle it is thermostatically controlled. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
The standard oven base on this range features a full baker’s depth with a 26-⅜” wide opening. It comes with two racks with four positions and porcelain on the bottom and door panel for insulation. The oven’s thermostat can provide temperatures between 250°F and 500°F.
