Vulcan 48S-2B36G Description
The 48S-2B36G Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan is a tried and tested restaurant-grade range that offers a large griddle section and a couple of top burners mounted on a standard oven base. This 48” wide range model uses stainless steel construction on its back riser, sides, high shelf, and front making it extremely durable and easy to maintain.
Vulcan’s Endurance Series™ provides unparalleled performance among Restaurant Gas Ranges. The aluminized steel frame is fully MIG welded to make sure it can keep up with your kitchen’s output.
To keep the twin open top burners on this range from consuming too much gas, a single pilot covers both of them. This arrangement uses a shrouded flash tube pilot system that also prevents the pilot from going out due to boilovers and spills. Cleaning and maintaining the open top burners is simple thanks to the simple lift-off design on the burner heads and heavy-duty cast grates.
To make griddling food as easy as possible this range has a 36” wide griddle. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
The standard oven in this range is 26-⅜” wide and is baker’s depth with two racks with four positions. Porcelain on the door panel and oven bottom keep it well insulated. To give users a wide range of baking temperatures this oven comes with a thermostat that can be set between 250°F and 500°F.
