Vulcan 48C-2B36G Description
Restaurants with a compact kitchen need to make the most out of the available space. The Vulcan 48C-2B36G Endurance™ Restaurant Range is a reasonably compact model that offers a large griddle and dual open top burners on top of a convection oven. This range is tried and tested and will easily keep up with the busiest days with no problem. For durability, this 48” wide model uses stainless steel construction on its high shelf, sides, front, and back riser.
Vulcan’s Endurance Series™ provides unparalleled performance when compared to other Restaurant Gas Ranges . The MIG welded aluminized steel frames make this an extremely reliable range.
Both burners on this range use the same shrouded flash tube pilot. This limits the gas consumed by the range while preventing the pilot from being extinguished by splashes and boilovers. Cleaning and maintaining the open top burners is simple thanks to the simple lift-off design on the burner heads and heavy-duty cast grates.
With a 36” wide griddle, this range offers plenty of room to handle multiple items. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
The 115v/60/1-ph blower draws 4.0 amps to evenly distribute heat in this range’s convection oven base. To supply power to the blower a 6-foot power cord is included. The oven’s cavity measures 25-⅜” wide and features full baker’s depth while two oven racks provide plenty of cooking space. With a thermostat that controls the baking temperature between 250°F and 500°F, this oven is very versatile.
