If you’re looking for a reliable restaurant-grade range that offers a thermostatically controlled griddle and a couple of top burners, the 48S-2B36GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan is a great choice that restaurants around the world rely on every day. At 48” in width, this unit doesn’t take up much room and it’s extremely durable with stainless steel used on its high shelf, back riser, sides, and front.
Vulcan’s Endurance Series™ provides unparalleled performance in the Restaurant Gas Ranges category. The aluminized steel frame is fully MIG welded to make sure it can keep up with your kitchen’s output.
Both burners on this range use the same shrouded flash tube pilot. This limits the gas consumed by the range while preventing the pilot from being extinguished by splashes and boilovers. Lift-off burner heads and cast grates make for simple maintenance and durability you can rely on
For precise griddling control, the 36” wide griddle features a snap action thermostat. To eliminate hot and cold spots while providing plenty of thermal mass, this griddle features a ⅞” thick griddle plate. A 4” wide grease trough fits spatulas for the removal of excess grease and crumbs. A pull-out crumb tray holds excess grease and crumbs and is easily accessible from the front of the range.
The standard oven at the base of this range measures 26-⅜” wide, and baker’s depth with two oven racks that can be adjusted to four positions. Porcelain on the oven bottom and door panel keep it well insulated. To give users a wide range of baking temperatures this oven comes with a thermostat that can be set between 250°F and 500°F.
