Vulcan 48C-2B36GT Description
If your kitchen needs a “Goldilocks” range that’s not too big and not too small and has burners, a thermostatic griddle, and a convection oven, the Vulcan 48C-2B36GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range is a great model to consider. For durability, this 48” wide model uses stainless steel construction on its high shelf, sides, front, and back riser.
The Endurance Series™ from Vulcan offers unrivaled performance in the restaurant-grade range market. WIth a fully MIG welded aluminized frame, little can go wrong with this range over its lifetime. With Vulcan’s Restaurant Gas Ranges operators can be sure that the equipment in their commercial kitchen is up to the task of keeping up with peak demand without issue.
To keep the twin open top burners on this range from consuming too much gas, a single pilot covers both of them. This arrangement uses a shrouded flash tube pilot system that also prevents the pilot from going out due to boilovers and spills. To make sure cleaning and maintenance of the open top burners is as easy as possible, the cast grates easily lift-off, and the burner heads also feature a lift-off design.
For precise griddling control, the 36” wide griddle features a snap action thermostat. To eliminate hot and cold spots while providing plenty of thermal mass, this griddle features a ⅞” thick griddle plate. A 4” wide grease trough fits spatulas for the removal of excess grease and crumbs. A pull-out crumb tray holds excess grease and crumbs and is easily accessible from the front of the range.
To quickly distribute heat in this convection oven a 115v/60/1-ph 4.0 amp blower is used. The oven cavity has a 26-3/8” wide opening and baker’s depth. A 6’ power cord and plug is included for the blower. The oven thermostat can be adjusted from 250°F to 500°F.
