Vulcan 48C-4B24GT Description
The 48C-4B24GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan is a reasonably compact and versatile range that comes with open top burners, a thermostatic griddle, and a convection oven. At 48” in width, this unit doesn’t take up much room and it’s extremely durable with stainless steel used on its high shelf, back riser, sides, and front.
Vulcan’s Endurance Series™ offers operators with Restaurant Gas Ranges that stand above the rest. For excellent durability, this range features an aluminized steel frame that’s fully MIG welded.
With four open top burners, this range offers users a flexible platform. Vulcan’s flash tube pilot system features shrouded pilots that each cover two burners. This reduces the amount of gas the pilots consume while protecting them against spills and boilovers. Cleaning and maintaining the open top burners is simple thanks to the simple lift-off design on the burner heads and heavy-duty cast grates.
The thermostatically controlled griddle is 24” wide providing plenty of space to work with food while maintaining the ideal temperature. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
The 115v/60/1-ph blower draws 4.0 amps to evenly distribute heat in this range’s convection oven base. To supply power to the blower a 6-foot power cord is included. The oven’s cavity measures 26-3/8” wide and features full baker’s depth while two oven racks provide plenty of cooking space. To give users a wide range of baking temperatures this oven comes with a thermostat that can be set between 250°F and 500°F.
