Southbend P36D-TTC Description
This 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range has a griddle, charbroiler, and standard oven in one flexible cooking station. Designed to perform in challenging environments, this unit comes with stainless steel front, sides, exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which are adjustable to fit uneven floors.
The griddle occupies 24" of the cooktop and has four (4) 16,000 BTU burners that heat up the 1" thick plate that holds heat well to shorten preheat and recovery time after each use. The griddle comes with thermostatic controls that allow you to set the exact cooking temperature within the temperature range of 180 degrees and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. There are splash guards around the rear and sides to prevent spills and splatters from escaping to nearby equipment and surfaces. The removable stainless steel grease drawer allows for quick waste disposal.
Produce charred meats with the 12" charbroiler, which comes with two (2) 16,000 BTU burners and stainless steel radiants that heat the cast-iron grates evenly to make the most of the cooking space. The charbroiler can reach temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The grates are removable for thorough cleaning and can also be adjusted to find the best setup for each recipe. The cast iron construction also helps with heat retention for speedier operation. The charbroiler comes with removable drip trays for quick maintenance.
The 45,000 BTU standard oven with a standing pilot can bake at temperatures ranging from 175 degrees to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Use the thermostatic controls to make precise temperature adjustments to ensure each baking session is a success. The oven interior is an easy-to-clean porcelain enamel and measures 26" by 26.5" to fit sheet pans sideways. There are two (2) racks, which you can set on five (5) side rails to find the best position for each dish.
This commercial range has a 9.25" deep front rail and fully insulated lining and burner box. To keep the kitchen safe and comfortable for users, the 5" high stainless steel flue riser drives the heat and smoke produced by the unit away from the users and towards the ventilation hood.
