Southbend P36A-BBH Description
This 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range has a 12" hot top and four (4) open burners at the top and a convection oven at the base, making it a versatile cooking powerhouse that can elevate any kitchen. With the stainless steel front, sides, rear, exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which can be adjusted to conform to uneven floors, this unit is a solid piece of cooking equipment that can keep up with your daily needs.
The open burners each deliver up to 35,000 BTU cooking power. They are non-clogging so not only are they easy to clean but they also prevent any gas flow blockage. Each burner comes with a removable welded steel top grate that creates a durable flat surface where pots and pans can be placed and moved around safely. The hot top comes with two (2) 16,000 BTU burners that can operated by one (1) control knob with high and low settings for simple operation. The removable steel plates can reach up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit at the center.
This commercial range also lets you bake a wide array of dishes using the convection oven, which packs a 45,000 BTU burner with a standing pilot and three (3) racks with five (5) position side rails. The two-speed fan helps distribute hot air evenly throughout the cooking chamber so everything inside cooks uniformly regardless of where they are inside. It operates at a temperature range of 175 degrees Fahrenheit to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. With the thermostatic controls, you can set the exact temperature in each dish. The interior is porcelain enamel, which means you can easily spot and wipe off the grime.
There is a 9.25" deep rail at the front. The lining and burner are fully insulated to facilitate efficient operation. The 5" stainless steel flue riser keeps the kitchen cool and safe by diverting the heat and smoke produced by the unit away from the user and towards your ventilation hood.
