Southbend P36D-BCC Description
A charbroiler, open cooktop, and standard oven in one, this 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range provides you with all the power and flexibility you need to meet daily demand. The stainless steel on the front, sides, rear, exterior bottom, and 6" adjustable legs make for a robust piece of equipment that can handle rigorous use.
There are two (2) open burners that operate up to 70,000 BTU total. They have an easy-to-clean non-clogging design, which helps maintain proper gas flow and optimal flame size. Each burner is fitted with a removable welded steel top grate that forms a flat surface to hold pots and pans in place and allow for safe and ergonomic repositioning as needed.
When it comes to cooking meats to charred and smokey perfection, the charbroiler with two (2) 16,000 BTU burners is the best companion for the job. The stainless steel radiants heat the cast-iron grates uniformly so you can use every inch of the space for cooking. The surface can reach temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The grates can be removed for cleaning or adjusted to tailor the setup to each recipe. The cast iron helps with heat retention, which ultimately cuts down preheat and recovery time after each use. Both the open top and the charbroiler have removable drip trays that save time and labor on maintenance.
The standard oven is equipped with a 45,000 BTU burner and standing pilot, with a baking temperature range of 175 degrees all the way to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic controls enable you to set the exact temperature for each recipe to produce impeccable results. The 26" by 26.5" interior provides ample space to accommodate sheet pans in either direction. It is constructed with porcelain enamel so it's easy to spot and wipe off the grime. The oven is supplied with two (2) racks that can be placed on five (5) side rails. It also has a durable stainless steel door handle.
The commercial range also features a 9.25" deep front rail and fully insulated lining and burner box to add to the functionality and efficiency of the unit. Heat and smoke produced during cooking should be promptly eliminated with the help of the 5" high stainless steel flue riser that diverts it all towards the ventilation hood.
