Southbend P36D-GGC Description
A griddle, charbroiler, and standard oven in one, this 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range significantly boosts the production capacity and versatility of any kitchen. And with the stainless steel front, sides, exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which can be adjusted to suit uneven floors, this unit has a strong and sound construction that can defend against rust and corrosion.
The griddle on this unit is wider at 24" and has four (4) 16,000 BTU burners to cover the large cooking surface. The plate is 1" thick, which retains heat so it takes less time to preheat and recover after each use. Splash guards are placed at the rear and sides to block any way spills and splatters can escape to nearby equipment and surfaces. The grease from the griddle collects in the stainless steel grease drawer, which can be removed for quick and easy discarding.
Perfect for whipping up those mouth-watering charred meats, the charbroiler takes the remaining 12" of the cooktop and has two (2) 16,000 BTU burners underneath. The stainless steel radiants distribute the heat evenly throughout the cast-iron grates, with cooking temperatures going as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit. These grates can be removed for cleaning or adjusted to tweak the setup for each recipe. The cast iron also offers heat retention that should save you even more time as well. The charbroiler comes with removable drip trays for speedy maintenance.
The standard oven with a standing pilot boasts an additional 45,000 BTU cooking power. It can bake at temperatures ranging from 175 degrees to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic controls facilitate precise temperature adjustment, which makes it easy to perfect each and every bake. The oven has a 26" by 26.5" porcelain enamel interior that is big enough to fit sheet pans in either direction. The oven is supplied with two (2) racks and five (5) position side rails so you can also quickly change how close or far away the food is from the heat source.
This commercial range has a 9.25" deep front rail and a completely insulated lining and burner box. The 5" high stainless steel flue riser moves the heat and smoke produced by the unit away from the users and towards the ventilation hood to maintain a cool and comfortable environment.
