Southbend P16C-C Description
This heavy-duty commercial gas range has a charbroiler at the top and a cabinet at the base, making for a functional cooking station you can rely on day-in, day-out. The unit is equipped with stainless steel radiants that can handle heavy use. The charbroiler is powered by two (2) 20,000 BTU burners that can heat up the cooking surface up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The cast-iron grates can be removed for cleaning and can be adjusted to accommodate various recipes. This unit is predominantly stainless steel--from the front and sides, cabinet, rear and exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which can be adjusted to accommodate uneven flooring. The lining and the burner box are fully insulated to keep the heat contained.
The front of the commercial range comes with a 9.25" deep rail that serves as an extra work surface. The cabinet base provides you a convenient space for storing supplies for easy access. There is a tray that catches drippings and can be removed for easy discarding. With the 5" high stainless steel flue riser, the heat and gases emanating from the cooktop are directed to the ventilation hood and away from the user.
This heavy-duty range meets all CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF standards.
