Southbend P36A-BCC Description
This 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range comes with two (2) 35,000 BTU open burners, a 24" charbroiler, and a convection oven, creating a powerful 179,000 BTU cooking station that can help you meet your daily demand. With stainless steel front, sides, rear, exterior, and 6" adjustable legs, this unit has a solid construction you can count on for many years.
The open burners are easy to clean because they are non-clogging, which also aids in maintaining proper gas flow. Each one is equipped with a removable welded steel top grate that supports the pots and pans during cooking and facilitates a more ergonomic way to move them around the surface.
This commercial range also has a two-burner charbroiler with 32,000 BTU that lets you cook up charred and savory meats and vegetables. The charbroiler can reach temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The durable stainless steel radiants distribute the heat evenly across the cast-iron grates, so you can use every inch of the cooking surface. The grates can be removed and adjusted to accommodate each recipe. Since they are constructed with cast iron, the grates can hold heat for extended periods to save time on recovery and preheat. The charbroiler comes with a removable drip tray for easy, time-saving maintenance. The front of the cooktop is a 9.25" deep rail.
The convection oven has a 45,000 BTU burner with a standing pilot and can bake dishes at 175 degrees Fahrenheit to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic controls give you the precision you need to perfect each recipe. The two-speed fan circulates hot air throughout the chamber so that everything cooks uniformly regardless of its position in the porcelain enamel interior. The oven is supplied with three (3) racks that you can position on five (5) side rails.
The lining and burner box are fully insulated for an efficient operation. The 5" high stainless steel flue riser keeps users comfortable and safe in the kitchen by pulling the heat and smoke emanating from the unit towards the ventilation hood.
