Southbend P36D-BBC Description
This 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range is a cooking powerhouse that packs four (4) 35,000 BTU open burners, a 12" charbroiler, and a standard oven in one piece of cooking equipment. Engineered with long service life and reliable performance in mind, this unit comes with stainless steel front, sides, exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which can be adjusted to various working heights to accommodate uneven floors.
The burners are designed to prevent clogging, which makes it easy to remove overflow liquids and maintain proper gas flow. Each one also has a removable welded steel top grate that offers durable support for the pots and pans and forms a smooth surface that makes repositioning the bulky wares less cumbersome.
The charbroiler with two (2) 16,000 BTU is the perfect cooking companion for serving up charred and smoky meats and veggies. The stainless steel radiants evenly heat the cast-iron grates at temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. These grates are removable and adjustable so you can always modify the cooking setup to suit each recipe. Plus, with the cast iron construction, the charbroiler retains heat well and in turn takes less time to preheat and recovery after each use. Both the burners and the charbroiler come with removable drip trays for simple maintenance.
The standard oven with a standing pilot adds another 45,000 BTU to your kitchen with a temperature range of 175 degrees to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic controls allow you to set the specific temperature for baking that each recipe calls for to get the best results. The oven has a large interior made of sleek and easy-to-clean porcelain enamel that can fit sheet pans in any direction and with the two (2) racks and five (5) position side rails, you can find the ideal height for baking each dish.
The front of the commercial range is a 9.25" deep rail while the lining and burner box are fully insulated for added efficiency and flexibility. The 5" high stainless steel flue riser moves the heat and smoke produced by the unit towards the ventilation hood to keep the environment optimal for users.
