For catering operations and larger venues with kitchens situated an extended distance away from where guests are served, a heavy-duty mobile holding cabinet like the FWE ETC-UA-6HD 1/2 Height Solid Door Mobile Heated Holding Cabinet is the best solution. To provide flexible storage options, the interior features universal tray slides that can be adjusted at 1-½” increments to a maximum spacing of 4-½”. The tray slides can accept 18”x26” and 12”x20” pans.

Setting the holding temperature is simple with the manual controls which allow for ten-degree increments between 90°F and 190°F. The interior temperature is monitored with a simple thermometer that does not require power.  To circulate warm moist air around the cabinet a fan-cooled blower motor forces air through a baffled humidifier pan and Incoloy nickel-chromium heating element. This provides even heating that spreads the heat to the entire interior.

To provide easy access to the interior, a full grip latch that closes positively gives access to users. This design is edge-mounted and provides a secure seal every time. The insulated stainless steel door locks the heat in thanks to a cabinet-mounted door gasket.

This cabinet was designed specifically for use in mobile operations and is built for heavy-duty use. The 1” square heavy gauge stainless steel tubular base is extremely durable while the rest of the construction features 18 gauge stainless steel construction with corners and fittings reinforced with 10 gauge stainless steel plates. Rolling this holding cabinet into place is simple with 5”” polyurethane casters that are maintenance-free.
