Blodgett DFG-50 DBL Description
If you are looking for a double-deck gas convection oven that is durable, simple to use, and very easy to maintain, the DFG-50 DBL will feel right at home in your kitchen. Available in both natural gas and LP configurations, this unit boasts a total cooking power of 55,000 BTU. Each deck is capable of holding five (5) half-size baking pans that can be positioned in nine (9) different levels. The stainless steel that runs the top, sides, and front can get by with very minimal scrubbing but can stand up to rust and corrosion so it stays pristine over time.
The dual flow gas system is able to make use of both direct and indirect heat to give you the flexibility you need for a variety of dishes while ensuring fast cooking times and flavorful and visually appealing results. The combustion chamber is made of aluminized steel to handle all the heat. Food on each and every rack is surrounded by hot air, thanks to the 0.5 hp single-speed dual-inlet fan with automatic thermal overload protection.
This commercial oven makes it simple to create the best-tasting dishes. The tilt-down front control panel features a switch that lets you go into cook mode, which turns on the oven and the fan, or into the cool down mode, which will drop the temperature or cool off the unit. The front panel also houses the solid-state thermostat knob that gives you precise manual control of the temperature. There is a separate knob for a digital timer that lets you count down to 60 minutes for an adequate baking time in each session.
The baking compartment is lined with 14-gauge double-sided porcelain so it is easy to clean. Solid mineral fiber fully insulates the unit to protect from heat loss and maintain ideal interior temperatures for optimal performance. The door is fitted with a dual-pane glass window that serves as the viewing area to check if the products are done or baking properly.
The electronic spark ignition is designed to use up gas only when needed to make your operation more efficient. The removable dual-tube burners create the ideal flame heat and distribution while the adjustable air shutters on the air mixers help you tweak the color and overall quality of the flame. The pressure regulator and the manual gas service cut-off valve are both accessible from the front while ventilation can be handled by either a draft diverter or draft hood, depending on your setup.
