Vulcan 60SC-6B24GT Description
For establishments that need a restaurant-grade range that they can rely on to keep up with demands without worry, the 60SC-6B24GT Endurance™ Restaurant Range from Vulcan is an obvious choice. This range comes with both standard and convection ovens, open top burners, and a thermostatic griddle. This 60” wide range uses stainless steel construction on its sides, front high shelf, and back riser to make sure it will serve in your kitchen for years without any issues.
The Vulcan Endurance Series™ lineup of Restaurant Gas Ranges includes the highest quality pieces of equipment available in the category. The aluminized steel frame is fully MIG welded to make sure it can keep up with your kitchen’s output.
To protect against spills and boilovers, the six open top burners on this range feature a shrouded flash tube pilot system. Each pair of burners is covered by one of these pilots which also reduces the amount of gas consumed by the system. The simple lift-off burners are easy to clean and accessing them is simple since the heavy-duty grates also lift-off.
To precisely control the cooking temperature of the griddle, snap action thermostatic controls are included to make achieving consistent results as easy as possible. To keep the temperature of the cooking surface consistent this griddle has a ⅞” thick griddle plate. Grease management is made simple with a 4” wide grease trough that fits most spatulas, the grease is channeled into an extra-deep crumb tray that is easy to remove for cleaning.
The standard oven measures 20-¼” in width and the convection oven is 26-⅜” wide, both of them are baker’s depth and each has two racks that can be moved to four positions. Hot air is circulated around the convection oven with a blower motor that runs on standard 115v/60/1-ph electricity at 4.0 amps. To connect the blower motor to an outlet a 6-foot power cable is included. Both ovens have thermostats that can be adjusted between 250°F and 500°F.
