Blodgett ZEPH-200-E BASE Description
The Blodgett ZEPH-200-E BASE is a base-only electric convection oven that has a bakery depth to accommodate five (5) standard full-size baking pans that the five (5) supplied removable chrome-plated can hold at both lengthwise and crosswise placements. This unit meets ENERGY STAR standards, helping your kitchen perform better while saving on energy expenses. And with the durable stainless steel construction on the majority of the chamber and the full angle-iron frame.
You can adjust the spacing of the racks to suit your products with the 11 rack guides lined on either side of the double-sided porcelainized cavity. The control panel is accessible from the front and can be removed easily for servicing. This is where the buttons and dials are housed for fully operating the unit--from the mode selector that allows you to switch between cook mode and cool down mode for a seamless operation bake after bake and the incomparably accurate solid-state infinite thermostat that lets you set the temperature between 200 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once in cook mode, this commercial oven powers the three (3) tubular heating elements to create the heat while the 0.5 hp single-inlet fan blows the air at low and high speeds to surround the racks with hot air and cook the contents with uniform quality. Cool Down mode brings the temperature down for another set of food to bake or to end the day. The control panel also features a digital timer that helps you stay on top of all your cooking sessions while allowing you to multitask.
There are left and right-hinged doors with a dual-pane thermal window on each to provide a viewing area without having to open the oven and risk heat loss during cooking. The doors have a triple-mounted pressure lock and turnbuckle to eliminate any gap. A powder-coated handle is used for both doors, so you can open or close them in one gesture, saving you time and making the operation much safer.
