Blodgett XR8-G/STAND Description
If you are looking for a reliable gas convection oven that can handle a wide range of recipes and deliver a consistent quality of food every single time, the Blodgett XR8-G/STAND is a great option. With 110,000 BTU, this oven has a baking capacity of eight (8) full-size pans that can be moved up and down to fit different sizes of products. It features a rack that rotates nonstop to improve airflow and consistency in the products.
This convection oven is all stainless steel, making it very easy to keep clean and highly resistant to rust and corrosion. The angle iron frame that is fully welded and the semi-rigid mineral insulation adds to the structural integrity to ensure the unit can keep up with the tough environments. The entire unit rests on a stainless steel stand that comes with pan slides that provide additional storage and casters for mobility.
This commercial oven uses an indirect-fired system with in-shot burners to cook your products. There is a common dial through which you can adjust most variables for the six preprogrammed modes on the unit, which includes the temperature and timer as well as steam injection, venting, and blower delay, giving you excellent control over to get desired results. The steam injection system adds humidity that helps create a more pleasing and nicely textured exterior for the bread. The unit has a dedicated control for the vent, which allows you to set a time for the release of the steam.
A 3/4 HP fan that circulates hot air and steam at low and high speeds to make sure that the product on each rack is cooked evenly and quickly. The oven also gives you the ability to turn the blower off for as long as 10 minutes, which can be very useful if you want a much gentler heat for the more delicate baked items on your menu. The fan automatically shuts off the motor when overheating is detected to prevent damage. When it is time for a new bake or to wrap up for the day, the oven can switch into cool-down mode to quickly lower the temperature.
The inside is perfectly visible from the outside thanks to the set of four halogen lights and the dual-pane tempered glass windows, which allow you to check the progress of your baking without having to open the doors. The unit is easy to install with the water lines already pre-plumbed.
Available in natural gas and liquid propane configurations, the Blodgett XR8-G/STAND gas convection oven meets cETLus and NSF standards and includes a two-year warranty on parts, a one-year warranty on labor, and an additional three-year limited warranty on the oven doors.
