Blodgett DFG-50 BASE Description
If you need a reliable and energy-efficient convection oven with adequate cooking power to support your foodservice production, the Blodgett DFG-50 single-deck half-size gas convection oven is a great choice. This unit has a BTU of 27,500 and can accommodate five (5) half-size baking pans that measure 13 by 18 inches. It is built to perform in tough environments with its stainless steel front, sides, and top and a full-angle iron frame.
Designed for natural gas and LP use, this commercial oven cooks the food with both direct and indirect heat, which means you can expect meats, vegetables, and other baked goods that are beautifully browned on the outside and juicy on the inside.
This unit comes with a total of five (5) chrome-plated racks that can be placed in up to nine (9) rack positions with the smallest gap at 41mm allowing you to fit a large chicken or multiple trays of vegetables or cookies. The modular front control panel features a cook or cool down mode selector for easy operation and has a tilt-down design
This convection oven features a single-speed fan motor with a dual inlet blower wheel that blows the oven over and around the food so that it cooks quickly and uniformly. Enjoy incredible accuracy with the solid-state manual dial when setting the temperature from 200 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. You can trust the digital timer to prevent undercooking or scorching the food while you work. A cooling fan helps the unit quickly recover to start another cooking session.
The cooking chamber is made of aluminized steel to handle high temperatures while the solid mineral fiber insulation at the top, back, sides and bottom prevent minimal heat loss. The double-sided porcelain interior so it is very easy to keep clean. The illumination that comes from a couple of 50-watt commercial bake oven lamps keeps everything visible from the dual-pane thermal glass windows on the door, which features a single chrome-plated handle for easy opening.
The electric spark ignition helps make your everyday operation more efficient while allowing you to kickstart the oven quickly. With removable dual-tube burners to achieve even heat height and distribution. The air mixers with adjustable air shutters help you fine-tune the flame for optimal performance.
This commercial oven comes with a 0.5 horsepower blower motor with automatic protection from thermal overload. For added safety, the unit has the pressure regulator and the manual gas cut-off valve on the front. You can choose between a draft diverter or a draft hood for ventilation.
