Blodgett DFG-100 BASE Description
If a gas convection oven is central to your operation, you need the reliability and efficiency that the Blodgett DFG-100 BASE can offer. This 55,000 BTU oven can hold five (5) full-size 18 by 26" baking pans. The top, front, sides, are all made of stainless steel making it sleek, durable, smooth, and very easy to clean while the interior has a full angle iron frame for a sturdy build.
This oven has a dual gas flow system that directly and indirectly heats food to cook it thoroughly and sear them to browned perfection. You can make full use of the interior capacity with the nine (9) rack positions with the small gap at 41mm. You can put the oven into cooking mode and cool it down after every baking session from the modular front-mounted panel with a tilted design.
The 0.5 hp dual-speed fan with dual-inlet blower wheel protects from thermal overload and makes sure each rack of food is engulfed with hot air to cook it evenly and thoroughly for a short amount of time. This convection oven has a wide range of temperatures with the lowest at 200 degrees Fahrenheit and the hottest at 500 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate a variety of menu items, and you can accurately adjust the temperature using the digital solid-state control with LED display. The digital timer gives you the ability to set a countdown so you can keep track of your food. To move tasks along smoothly, you also have a cooling fan that brings the temperature down quickly, so you can get ready for the next batch of baking.
The aluminized steel combustion chamber is perfect for high-temperature baking while the solid mineral fiber insulation at the top, back, sides and bottom helps keep the heat inside for a consistent, high-quality bake. The interior is lined with double-sided porcelain and illuminated with two 50-watt commercial bake oven lamps. You can easily view everything through each of the dual-pane thermal glass windows on the stainless steel swing doors, which can be opened or closed simultaneously from a single handle.
The electric spark ignition fires up the oven quickly and improves fuel efficiency while the removable dual-tube burners help achieve the evenness required for consistent heating across the cavity. The air mixers with air shutters can be adjusted to achieve the right flame quality. To make servicing and your everyday operation a little safer, the pressure regulator and the manual gas cut-off valve are accessible from the front. The ventilation can be handled by either a draft diverter or draft hood, depending on which suits your operation better.
The Blodgett DFG-100 BASE single-deck half-size gas convection oven is approved by CSA, NSF, and CE standards and includes a two-year warranty on parts and labor and a five-year limited warranty on the oven door. This unit requires a 150v/60Hz/1-ph power supply. You can easily customize the unit with additional components and accessories available below.
