Commercial kitchens on the market for a high-quality freezer have much to gain from the Turbo-Air M3F24-1-N. It is designed and manufactured by Turbo-Air, which has been in the business of selling premium refrigeration systems for more than 20 years. This top-mount reach-in freezer is more than just a well-built piece of equipment with its stainless steel exterior and aluminum interior. It also has innovative features that use new technology to help ensure your food temperature requirements are met.
Measuring 27 3/4” wide x 30 3/4” deep x 78” tall, this self-contained freezer provides ample storage space with a full capacity of 21.6 cu. ft. It is a one-section unit with (3) polyethylene-coated wire shelves and optional extra shelves that come for an additional fee. You may also get optional half and full-size bun tray racks that can hold up to (6) and (15) sheet pans respectively at an extra charge. The inside is lit by energy-efficient LED lighting. The entire freezer cabinet structure uses foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation to seal the cold air inside.
The Turbo-Air M3F24-N-1 has a condenser with its own self-cleaning system that automatically kicks in two to three times per day. The system has a rotating brush that moves to remove dust that accumulates in the condenser every day. This prevents dust buildup that keeps the condenser from functioning properly. It is also a great way to reduce energy consumption and increase energy savings.
Another headline feature is the digital temperature control and monitor system that helps you make sure your frozen items are kept at optimal temperature levels. This is a self-diagnosing system that automatically interprets the freezer’s condition and notifies you of any issues even before malfunction occurs. If someone left the door open, the monitoring system will sound an alarm to let you know the door is not shut properly. If you’re loading new items, you can activate Turbo Freeze to quickly bring the freezer temperature down. The system also uses power-saving smart defrost so that the freezer defrosts only for the length of time needed.
The Turbo-Air M3F24-1-N has a hinged solid door that beeps every time you open it. The door uses a pressure release so you can open it with ease despite the vacuum seal created by the magnetic door gasket. For a sleek, polished look, the door is fitted with a recessed handle and lock. It is also field reversible so you can easily switch the door hinge to the other side and change the direction of the door swing. This freezer is supported by 4” swivel casters that can be locked in place. You may also purchase optional 6” stainless steel legs.
As with other Turbo-Air refrigeration systems, this freezer uses Turbo-Air’s energy-saving hot gas condensate system, which has specially treated pipes to prevent the refrigerant from leaking and condensate from overflowing. The refrigerant is eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon, which satisfies the strict environmental standards issued by the DOE and EPA in 2017.
