Southbend SE36A-TTB Description
With two (2) round hotplates, two (2) hot tops, and a convection oven, this 36" heavy-duty commercial electric range is a cooking powerhouse that can significantly boost your production from a single space in your kitchen. The front, sides, top, and oven lining are all constructed with stainless steel to protect from rust and corrosion.
Powered by two (2) 5.3-kilowatt heating elements, the griddle is 24" wide and 24" deep and is controlled by a thermostat with a temperature range of 250 degrees Fahrenheit all the way to 850 degrees Fahrenheit. Splashers are installed around the sides and rear of the plate to block drippings or food debris from escaping to surrounding surfaces or equipment. The 9" round hot plates are each controlled by a three-heat switch that lets you adjust the heat intensity to low, medium, and high settings. The front of the cooktop is a 9.25" deep rail for added functionality.
The fully insulated convection oven on this commercial range cooks food quickly and thoroughly with the help of the dual-speed fan that moves the hot air around to heat every inch of the cooking chamber. There are three (3) racks and six (6) removable side rails to help you maximize the cooking space and cook large batches of food at a time. Many of the components of the oven including the inner lining, throat, and lined door are made of stainless steel for added durability.
A 5" stainless steel flue riser helps maintain a cool, comfortable kitchen by deflecting the heat and smoke produced by the unit away from users. The 6" legs can be set to different heights to accommodate uneven floors.
