Southbend P36D-BTT Description
With a set of two (2) open burners and a 24" griddle at the top and a standard oven at the base, this 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range will be a flexible asset to your kitchen. The stainless steel front, sides, exterior bottom, and 6" adjustable legs make it a dependable piece of equipment.
There are two (2) open burners that each operate at 35,000 BTU. With the clog-free design, gas flow is less likely to get restricted and in turn, the burners produce a strong flame consistently. Each burner has a removable welded steel top grate that creates a flat surface where pots and pans sit during cooking and can be safely moved around if needed. The open-top comes with a removable drip tray for easy maintenance.
The 24" griddle has four (4) 16,000 BTU burners and a 1" thick plate that retains heat to shorten preheat and recovery time. The griddle has thermostatic temperature controls that allow you to set the exact cooking temperature within the 180°F to 400°F range. Splash guards are installed around the rear and sides of the plate to protect nearby equipment and surfaces from spills and splatters. A removable stainless steel drawer collects grease from the griddle for easy disposal.
The 45,000 BTU standard oven with a standing pilot lets you bake a litany of dishes at temperatures ranging from 175 degrees and as high as 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Like the griddle, the oven has thermostatic controls that help you achieve the precise cooking environment for each recipe. The spacious cooking chamber can accommodate sheet pans in any orientation so you can fit more food at a time. Since it is porcelain enamel, the interior should be effortless to keep clean. You also get two (2) racks, which can be set at five (5) position side rails to find the perfect cooking height. The oven has a heavy-duty stainless steel door handle.
This commercial range has a 9.25" deep front rail and fully insulated lining and burner box. The 5" high stainless steel flue riser drives the heat and smoke produced by the unit away from users and towards the ventilation hood.
