Southbend P36A-GGC Description
With a 24" griddle and a 12" charbroiler at the top and a convection oven at the base, this 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range is a flexible addition to any kitchen. It is also a tough piece of cooking equipment, thanks to the stainless steel front, sides, rear, exterior bottom, and 6" legs, which are adjustable to accommodate uneven floors.
Perfect for whipping up burgers and breakfast offerings, the griddle is powered by four (4) 16,000 BTU burners. The plate is 1" thick, which recovers and preheats quickly due to its excellent heat retention. The sides and rear of the griddle have splash guards that help you maintain a clean and safe workspace. A removable stainless steel drawer collects the grease during cooking to make cleanups quicker.
When it comes to smokey and charred meats, seafood, and vegetables, the charbroiler with two (2) 16,000 BTU burners can take on the task. It can reach temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The stainless steel radiants heat up the cast-iron grates in a uniform manner to make sure that there are no cold spots. The grates can be adjusted or removed on demand so you can modify the setup to suit each recipe. The cast iron helps with retaining heat. There is a removable drip tray for easy maintenance.
The 45,000 BTU convection oven on this commercial range is equipped with a standing pilot and three (3) racks. There is a two-speed fan that helps hot air reach every nook and cranny so products cook evenly no matter which rack they are placed. The oven bakes products at 175 degrees Fahrenheit to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, providing plenty of flexibility to handle various recipes. The thermostatic controls let you set the exact cooking temperature to ensure that each dish is cooked just the way you like it. The porcelain enamel interior makes it easy to spot and clean off the grime and food debris.
The front of the cooktop is a 9.25" deep rail that offers additional table space. The lining and burner box are fully insulated to keep the operation running efficiently. The 5" high stainless steel flue riser drives the heat and smoke coming from the unit away from the user and towards the ventilation hood.
