The Southbend HDB-24-316L is a 24” infrared broiler designed for heavy-duty outdoor use. At the heart of this broiler are (2) ceramic burners that provide intense, uniform heat for the broiling area. Each burner can reach tremendous temperatures up to 1,600° F in as little as 90 seconds, providing radiant heat that can rapidly sear meats and lock in flavorful juices into the product.  

This deck-type broiler is built with all-stainless steel construction. The exterior panels are made of low-carbon 316L stainless steel with #3 polish, which are reinforced by 316L stainless steel interior panels. This ensures the broiler can withstand the sun, wind, and other elements.

This compact broiler measures 24” wide x 44” deep x 44” high. It has a roll-out broiling area with dimensions of 16” wide x 26 1/2” deep. The front 3” of the broiling area serves as a holding area for keeping food products warm before serving. The broiling grid has a round pattern for creating branding marks on your food products. You can adjust the height of the grid to bring it closer or farther from the heating elements.

The broiler’s lining and the burner boxes are fully insulated to ensure that the high temperatures stay inside. A blower also delivers fresh air to blow away smoke and vapors that may affect the efficiency of the broiler.  

The Southbend HDB-24-316L is supported by 4” stainless steel adjustable legs. For an additional fee, you may opt for a unit with casters equipped with locks for the front set. You may also purchase any of Southbend’s stainless steel equipment stands that come at various heights. The unit can be mounted on any of these stands or on a countertop.
