Storing refrigerated goods in bulk is easiest done with an efficient and reliable walk-in cooler like the Nor-Lake KLB8766-C 6' x 6' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker. 

This cooler is made up of 4” panels making it easy to assemble while providing an R-value of 25. Each panel is made up of 26 gauge steel with an embossed stucco coating on either side for corrosion resistance. The interior of the panel is made up of foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. Assembling the walk-in is simple with each panel having a male and female side that fit together tightly and secured by foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners. A continuous panel gasket without cuts or breaks wraps around the outer perimeter for a superior seal. The sturdy floor panels feature a similar construction to the wall panels but have a smooth aluminum surface instead of steel to provide rust resistance. These floor panels can take a uniform load of up to 800 lbs per square foot. Floor and ceiling panels have foamed-in-place edge caps that will keep them in place for the life of the walk-in unit.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door featuring a stepped profile that acts as a barrier against airflow. Two cam-lift hinges are included with the door and can be installed on the right or left. These hinges are field-adjustable to make sure the door swings freely while providing an airtight seal. A spring-assisted door closer is included to keep the door from being left ajar. The door is pre-hung in a 4-foot wide panel and features a magnetic stainless steel trim, digital thermometer, replaceable perimeter heating wire, and vapor proof LED light fixture actuated by a switch with external indicator light. Everything inside the walk-in is kept secure by an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, a safety release inside the door panel makes sure no-one gets locked inside.

The temperature inside this walk-in is kept between 35°F and 38°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 4060 BTU/hr of cooling potential. The Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system sets the temperature inside the walk-in and also sets the automatic defrost timer. To remove the need for a drain line, an automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose with the unit and needs to be field wired.
