To safely and efficiently store refrigerated goods in bulk an indoor walk-in cooler like the Nor-Lake KLB87610-C 6' x 10' x 8'-7" H Kold Locker is the go-to solution. 

To assure durability the internal and exterior surfaces of the panels feature an embossed stucco coating to provide corrosion resistance to the 26 gauge steel. These panels are 4” thick with foamed-in-place insulation between the steel panels providing an R-value of 25. The Kold Locker is easy to assemble, yet extremely secure and durable. Each panel has male and female rails that fit together tightly and held in place with easy to use foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners. To make sure everything’s airtight, a continuous panel gasket that wraps around the exterior perimeter. The ceiling and floor panels feature foamed-in-place edge caps that will stay in place for the life of the cooler.

The standard 26” wide door has a stepped profile that acts as a barrier to airflow resulting in an energy-efficient door system. The door is mounted on two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on the left or right of the unit. The hinges are field-adjustable to adjust how the door hangs for smooth opening and closing and can be locked in with a set screw. A spring-actuated door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

The interior temperature is efficiently maintained between 35°F and 38°F by the RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System in the ceiling that produces 4060 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The Enviro-Control™ system allows the interior temperature to be set and maintained efficiently. The controller is also used to set the defrost timer and activate a manual defrost cycle. To eliminate the need for drain lines, a condensate vaporizer is included.
