If your business needs a large amount of refrigeration capacity an indoor walk-in unit like the KLB84810-C 8' x 10' x 8'-4" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake might be your best bet. This floorless model has an 8’4” height providing extended vertical storage capabilities.

The cooler is constructed from 4” thick panels that feature 26 gauge steel with a stucco embossed, corrosion-resistant coating. EPA-compliant foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation is used. Each panel has male and female rails that self-align mechanically, the panels are then tightened together with foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners for an airtight seal. Panel gaskets located on the outer perimeter of the corner panels are continuous without cuts or breaks. The edge caps on the ceiling panels are foamed-in-place to secure them for the life of the walk-in unit.

By default, the door that comes with this unit is 26” wide with a stepped profile that impedes airflow for a more energy-efficient door. An upgraded 30” wide door kit with a stainless steel kickplate is available for free. The two hinges can be installed on the right or left of the door and include field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer makes sure it’s never left ajar to keep cooling costs low. Each door comes pre-hung in a panel that is 4’ wide and features a perimeter heating wire that is replaceable. Each door panel also comes with a vapor proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch that has an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Products inside are secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle that has an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers don’t get locked inside each walk-in comes with a safety release.

The temperature inside this walk-in is kept between 35°F and 38°F by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 6250 BTU/hr of cooling potential. The Capsule Pak unit comes with the Enviro-Control™ electronic control system to adjust the temperature and set the timing for automatic defrosting. An automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose and wired in the field removing the need for a drain line.
