The KLB741014-C 10' x 14' x 7'-4" H Kold Locker from NorLake is an easy pick for anyone looking for a dependable 8'4" high indoor walk-in unit without a floor.

Each panel is 4” thick and comes with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish on 26 gauge steel for durability. The interior of this walk-in coolers with top mounted compressor is filled with EPA-compliant polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation. Kold Locker walk-in units are easy to assemble, each panel has male and female mating rails that make alignment easy while foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together for an airtight seal. The corners feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously without any breaks or cuts. Edge caps on ceiling panels are foamed-in-place that keep them in place through the life of the unit.

The standard 26” wide door has a stepped profile that acts as a barrier to airflow resulting in an energy-efficient door system. An upgraded 30” wide door kit that comes with a stainless steel kick plate is available at no extra cost. The door comes with two hinges that can be installed on the right or left to best fit your needs. The two cam-lift hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling and come with a locking set screw. To keep cooling costs low, a spring-loaded door closer is included. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

A temperature between 35°F and 38°F is efficiently maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that produces 84 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The temperature inside the walk-in is adjusted with the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system, it is also used to set the automatic defrost timer. Drain lines are not required thanks to the automatic condensate vaporizer included with the unit. The automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose and needs to be wired in the field.
