An indoor walk-in cooler like the Nor-Lake KLB1012-C 10' x 12' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker is the most efficient way to manage and stoor refrigerated goods in bulk. In total, this walk-in cooler offers 625 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

The interior and exterior sides of the 4" panels that make up this walk-in are made from 26 gauge steel finished with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. The space between the steel panels is filled with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation with an R-Value of 25. One end of each panel has a male rail and the opposite end has a female rail, this allows each panel to fit together tightly and blocking airflow. Cam locking fasteners are foamed-in-place to tighten panels together. A continuous panel gasket goes around the outer perimeter free of cuts or breaks. The sturdy floor panels feature a similar construction to the wall panels but have a smooth aluminum surface instead of steel to provide rust resistance. These floor panels can take a uniform load of up to 800 lbs per square foot. Floor and ceiling panels have foamed-in-place edge caps that will keep them in place for the life of the walk-in unit.

The standard door that comes with this unit is 26” wide. The door features a stepped profile to provide a barrier against airflow for increased energy-efficiency. The door is mounted on two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on the left or right of the unit. The hinges are field-adjustable to adjust how the door hangs for smooth opening and closing and can be locked in with a set screw. A spring-actuated door closer is included to make sure the door is never left ajar. The door panel is 4’ wide with the door pre-hung from the factory. A replaceable perimeter heating wire is included as well as a vapor proof LED lighting fixture that is activated by a switch complete with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers safe, the interior has a safety release to make sure they are never locked in.

To keep refrigerated goods safe temperature from 35°F to 38°F is maintained by the ceiling-mounted RCPB075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System. This system provides 6250 BTU/hr of cooling efficiently. This walk-in comes complete with the Enviro-Control™ unit that controls the Capsule Pak refrigeration unit. Aside from setting the temperature, it is also used to set the defrost timer and can activate a manual defrost cycle. An automatic condensate vaporizer is included for easy installation that doesn’t require a floor drain.
