The Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan is the 30-gallon workhorse in many mid to large size restaurants and institutions that require large batch cooking. Production kitchens can’t fire on all cylinders without at least one floor standing braising pan, and this unit checks a lot of boxes. Coming in at  38 ½” wide and 39 ¾” front to back, this tilting braising pan gets a lot of work done in as little space as possible. If you need to make 20 pounds of stir fry or a boatload of Jambalaya this braising pan fits the bill.

The entire stainless steel interior of the Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan is polished to a 100 emery finish to keep food from sticking and cleaning time to a minimum.  At 10” deep, 26 ¼” wide, and 28 ¼” long the only limitation to what you can cook in this unit is your imagination. Moving contents within the braising pan is made easy with 3” radius corners. Since the pan body is made from a single piece of highly corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel there are no corners or seams for food particles or grime to stick to; this makes cleaning easy as can be. The cooking surface has no hot or cold spots thanks to its heavy-duty ⅝” thick stainless steel clad plate and flat bar electric heating elements.

The Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan control panel is housed in a stainless steel enclosure and is IPX6-rated. The controls are simple: with an LED indicated power switch, heat indicator, and temperature control knob, what more do you really need? Tilting the braising pan is intuitive with a hand crank, owing its precision and smoothness to the worm-and-gear mechanism. The pan reaches full vertical tilt in 24 turns and can tilt past it to aid in cleaning. A faucet can be conveniently installed on the left, right or right rear of this unit with the included bracket.

Cooking in the Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan is precise and repeatable with its thermostatic control. When the desired temperature has been reached the heating turns off and when it falls below the heating starts back up again.  Every single Groen tilting braising pan has a high limit thermostat for your safety.

The exterior of the pan body has a #3 finish that is easy to clean and keeps this unit looking good day in and day out. The braising pan is mounted on an open leg stand which makes cleaning the floor under and around it simple. In case your flooring isn’t completely flat, the adjustable bullet feet on all 4 legs make sure everything’s level.
