The Groen BPM-15EC Braising Pan is an excellent choice for any size kitchen. It's perfect as an additional unit in a large establishment or the primary device in a small restaurant. With its 15 gallon capacity and 30.47” wide and 39-¾” front to rear footprint, it's not hard to find room for this electrically heated unit.

The inside of the cooking pan is 18.10” wide, 8” deep, and 28-1/4" long. The interior of the pan keeps food from sticking with its 100 emery grit finish.  Less food sticking means less time cleaning. The bottom of the pan is an evenly heated 5/8" stainless steel clad plate with flat bar electric heating elements. Food is easy to stir thanks to the 3" radius corners. The pan's interior siding is made from a single piece of corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel and includes graduated markings in both liters and gallons.

The Groen BPM15-EC Braising Pan keeps its controls simple. The IPX6-rated control panel has a power switch with an indicator light, a heating indicator light, and a temperature control knob. To facilitate griddling the pan can be operated tilted at a 7-degree angle. The pan is manually tilted with a hand crank. Tilting is smooth thanks to the worm-and-gear mechanism making sure tilting is precise when pouring. The pan reaches its full vertical position in 24 turns and can go past full vertical to aid in cleaning.

Cooking with this tilting braising pan is precise and repeatable thanks to the thermostatic control. When the set temperature is reached the unit will automatically switch off and when the temperature dips it automatically turns the heat back on.  This model has a temperature range of 175 to 400°F. All Groen tilting braising pans have a high limit thermostat for safety.

The exterior of the Groen BPM-15-EC Braising Pan has an aesthetically pleasing #3 finish which is durable and easy to clean.  The unit stands on a tubular open leg stand which allows you to see and clean beneath and around the unit with ease. To make sure the unit is level the tubular legs have adjustable bullet feet. Included with this device is a faucet bracket. A faucet can be mounted on the right, left or rear right of the unit. Please note, the faucet is not included.

There are 5 different voltage options for this model,  480v/60/3-ph (7.6kW, 10.0 amps), 208v/60/1-ph (7.7kW, 37.0 amps), 208v/60/3-ph (7.7kW, 22.0 amps), 240v/60/1-ph (7.7kW, 32.0 amps), and 240v/60/3-ph (7.7kW, 19.0 amps).
