Blodgett XR8-E/STAND Description
The Blodgett XR8-E/STAND is a durable and easy-to-use electric convection oven that bakes eight full-size pans of food evenly on a rotating rack designed to promote optimal airflow. The spacing between each rack can be adjusted from 1 to 4 inches to the size of the bread and other products you cook every single day.
This commercial oven is built to perform in the most demanding kitchen environments with its full stainless steel construction that is resistant to rust and easy to keep clean. The fully welded iron frame offers excellent stability while the semi-rigid mineral fiber insulation keeps the heat contained to maintain optimal interior temperatures. This oven provides a lot of cooking flexibility to help you produce a variety of dishes from a single piece of equipment. An internal steam system introduces large volumes of steam into the baking chamber for the amount of time each recipe needs, allowing you to whip up bagels, French bread, and other artisan-style bread with thick crusts. With the digital programmable controls, you can set different bake and steaming times.
The unit features a 3/4 hp fan that circulates hot air and steam at two speeds to get the best bake quality at much faster cooking times. The fan also has automatic protection from thermal overloading to keep the motor safe. And with the blower delay feature, you can turn the fan off for up to 10 minutes for baking delicate products. A vent can be set to open during operation to remove the humidity from inside the cavity when it is no longer needed. The unit also has a cool-down mode that brings the temperature down quickly to prepare another bake session or turn it off for the day.
The interior is illuminated by four (4) halogen lights for superior visibility. With the double-pane tempered glass doors, you can check the baking progress without having to interrupt the oven’s process. This convection oven is mounted on a durable stainless steel stand with pan slides for added storage and casters for easy transport. The pre-plumbed water lines allow for easier installation.
The Blodgett XR8-E/STAND electric convection oven meets cETLus and NSF standards and includes a two-year warranty on parts, a one-year warranty on labor, and an additional three-year limited warranty on the oven doors.
