Heavy-Duty Construction

The Turbo-Air TCBE-72SDR-N is built with 16-gauge stainless steel to provide a strong, hygienic unit designed for busy commercial kitchens. It includes (4) durable drawers, each one also stainless steel. Each drawer is fitted with easy-grip handles recessed into the front panel for easy opening and closing.

Generous Interiors

Measuring 83.63” wide, this refrigerated base offers copious amounts of space for storing a large number of extra ingredients. The interior has a maximum capacity of 16.04 cu. ft. to accommodate up to (60) 1/6 size, 4”-deep food pans.

Optimal Temperatures

The Turbo-Air TCBE-72SDR-N can hold temperatures between 33° F to 38° F, which are ideal for keeping fresh food items safe. You can continuously monitor the temperature using a digital temperature display conveniently mounted on the front of the unit. High-density polyurethane insulation is sprayed throughout the cabinet. The one-piece stainless steel top is also insulated to prevent heat coming from cooking equipment to transfer to the refrigerated base.  

Maximum Performance At All Times

The unit’s innovative self-cleaning condenser ensures that system works perfectly all of the time. The condenser is equipped with a rotating brush, which automatically cleans the condenser 2 to 3 times every day. The evaporator is also given a special anti-corrosion treatment to prevent moisture and food acids from causing damage.

Perfect for Narrow Spaces

The Turbo-Air TCBE-82SDR-N is designed to fit comfortably into small spaces thanks to its front-breathing configuration and side-mounted 1/3 HP compressor. A set of 5” casters also make it easy to transport across the kitchen floor. You can also include 6” stainless steel legs in lieu of casters for an extra fee.

Does Little Harm to the Environment

All Turbo-Air units, including the TCBE-82SDR-N, use environment-friendly refrigerants to reduce their environmental footprint. This refrigerated base uses R290, which fully satisfies the strict requirements of the EPA and DOE. R290 does not emit harmful CFCs that deplete the ozone layer and contributes minimally to global warming.
