The Turbo-Air TCBE-36SDR-N6 is a stainless steel refrigerated base that can accommodate up to 788 lbs. of equipment. This side-mounted unit is manufactured by Turbo-Air, which has been providing heavy-duty refrigeration solutions for more than 2 decades.

All-Stainless Steel Construction

This unit is made of 16-gauge stainless steel to ensure that it lasts even in the most gruesome commercial kitchen environments while providing stable support for a griddle, broiler, or commercial range. The 2 stainless steel drawers are fitted with recessed handles for easy opening and closing.

Ample Refrigerated Storage Space

To help you make the most of the space underneath your equipment, this refrigerated base offers up to 3.42 cu. ft. of refrigerated storage. Both drawers can accommodate a total of (18) 1/6 size pans or 4”-deep pans to provide sufficient space for storing your food items.

Optimal Temperatures for Food Preservation

This unit can hold temperatures between 33° F to 38° F. A crystal clear temperature display panel is mounted on the front to help you keep an eye on interior temperatures. Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation provides excellent insulating power to maintain the cold temperatures. The unit’s one-piece stainless steel top is also insulated to eliminate heat transfer.

Self-Cleaning Condenser

The refrigerated base’s condenser is fitted with a rotating brush that automatically moves up and down 2 to 3 times per day to remove dust. This reduces the possibility of dust buildup that can clog the system and cause system failures. A fine mesh wire filter provides an extra layer of protection against dust and debris for the condenser.

Easily Fits Into Narrow Spaces

The Turbo-Air TCBE-36SDR-N6 is a front-breathing unit that allows it to remain efficient even in small spaces. It sits on a set of 5” casters that help you move it around with ease. An optional set of 6” stainless steel legs is also available for an extra fee.

Eco-Friendly Coolant

Eco-friendly R600a, a specialized hydrocarbon refrigerant that complies with the EPA and DOE’s strict rules on refrigerant use, is used as a coolant for this unit. R600a has been proven harmless to the ozone layer because it does not release ozone-depleting chemicals. It also has a minimal contribution to global warming.
