Premium Construction for Commercial Use

The Turbo-Air TBC-50SD-GF-N is a super deluxe glass chiller and froster with a largely stainless steel construction to help it withstand the rigors of commercial use. The exterior front, sides, countertop, and (2) sliding lids are all made from stainless steel to give the unit a sleek, polished appearance. The interior walls and floor are also made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to provide a hygienic environment for your glassware.

Spacious Interior for Glass Chilling

This side-mount glass chiller and froster measures 50” wide and has an interior capacity of 13.85 cu. ft. to provide plenty of space for chilling glasses, mugs, and plates. The interior comes with (5) wire shelves that are coated with durable polyethylene to protect them against damage that can occur from exposure to moisture.

Ideal Temperatures for Chilling Glassware

The Turbo-Air TBC-50SD-GF-N can maintain a temperature range of -5° F to -15° F. This unit uses a direct cooling system, which cools the interior by blowing cold through natural convection. It uses foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation sprayed throughout the cabinet to keep the cold air inside the cabinet. To prevent ice from clogging up the chiller, it also comes with a manual defrost system that lets you melt any ice that may have formed over time.  

Self-Cleaning Condenser for Easy Maintenance

The Turbo-Air TBC-50SD-GF-N is a low-maintenance chiller and froster that has a self-cleaning condenser to prevent dust buildup and reduce the risk of mechanical failure. The condenser has its own rotating brush, which automatically cleans dust 2 to 3 times per day. It is also shielded from bigger particles using a fine mesh filter that keeps dust, dirt, debris, and insects out of the condenser.

Casters for Mobility

When you need to transport the Turbo-Air TBC-50SD-GF-N across the room, you can easily do so with the use of the unit’s 4” casters. A set of 2” casters is available for an additional fee if you’d rather have an underbar unit. You may also include a set of 6” stainless steel legs that are height-adjustable for an extra fee.

Environment-Friendly Glass Chiller and Froster

The Turbo-Air TBC-50SD-GF-N is cooled using a specialized hydrocarbon refrigerant called R290. R290 has an Ozone Depletion Potential of 0 and a Global Warming Potential of 3. It does not have chemicals that deplete the ozone layer and adds little to global warming. R290 is also fully compliant with the strict standards on refrigerant use as mandated by the EPA and DOE.

This glass chiller has a side-mounted 1/3 HP compressor. It has a voltage of 115v/60/1-ph.
