The Turbo-Air M3R24-1-N is a self-contained, top-mount refrigerator designed and manufactured by Turbo-Air, a leading provider of high-quality refrigeration solutions around the world.

Robust Exterior

The refrigerator is designed to last even in the most taxing commercial kitchen environments thanks to its stainless steel front and side panels. This is reinforced by an aluminum interior and a stainless steel interior floor.

An ergonomic recessed handle gives the stainless steel door a stylish look. The door is also fitted with a lock to provide security for your refrigerated items. A door pressure release device allows you to break the door’s vacuum seal and open it easily. The door is hinged on the right, but it is field-reversible so you can transfer the hinge to the left and change the direction of the door swing.  

Spacious Interior

Measuring 28 ¾” wide, the Turbo-Air M3R24-1-N has a maximum capacity of 21.6 cu. ft. to provide sufficient storage space for your refrigerated goods. The interior comes with (3) height-adjustable wire shelves coated with heavy-duty polyethylene to resist rust caused by moisture. An optional extra rack is also available for an additional fee. The refrigerator’s interior is brightly illuminated by energy-efficient, long-lasting LED lighting. It is insulated by layers of high-density polyurethane to keep the cold air inside.

Self-Diagnosing Monitoring System

To help you stay on top of potential issues, Turbo-Air equipped this refrigerator with an intelligent monitoring system that can interpret the condition of the unit and warn you of pending problems even before a malfunction occurs.

For instance, if the system detects that the door is not shut, it will sound an alarm to let you know. The refrigerator also has a rapid cooldown function called Turbo Cool to quickly bring the temperature down of the interior to safe levels.

The unit has an exterior LED digital temperature control and monitoring display to let you keep track of the interior’s temperature. The temperature can be adjusted from 33° F to 38° F. If the unit detects an unusual rise in temperature, it automatically stops the fan motor to prevent it from spreading hot air around the interior.

Self-Cleaning Hot Gas Condensate System

Like all models in Turbo-Air’s M3 line of refrigerators, the Turbo-Air M3R24-1-N has a hot gas condensate system specially treated to protect the condenser coils from corrosion and prevent refrigerant leakage. The evaporator is also given the same treatment to protect it from damage that may be caused by food acids.

The condenser is also shielded from dust buildup with a self-cleaning system that prevents dust from accumulating in the coils. In front of the condenser is a fine mesh filter that captures dust particles that may get trapped inside. Whatever makes it through the filter is cleaned by an automatically rotating brush that kicks into action two to three times every day.  

Environment-Friendly Refrigerant

In keeping with the DOE and EPA’s strict standards on refrigerant use and management, the Turbo-Air M3R24-1-N uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has a Global Warming Potential of 3, which means it contributes little to global warming. It also has an Ozone Depletion Potential of 0 and does not have damaging effects on the ozone layer.

Swivel Casters for Mobility

The refrigerator is supported by a set of 4” swivel casters that allow you to move the unit around. The front casters are lockable so the unit doesn’t have to slide in and out of place while in use. If you prefer a completely stationary refrigerator, you may opt for a set of 6” stainless steel legs that come at an additional cost.

Energy Requirements

It runs on a ¼ HP motor and operates at 115v/60/1-ph and 2.5 amps.
