Southbend P36A-TTC Description
Made for cooking flexibility and long service life, this 36" heavy-duty commercial gas range comes with a full-width griddle, charbroiler, and convection oven plus rust and corrosion-resistant stainless steel front, sides, rear, exterior bottom, and 6" adjustable legs.
The griddle is packing four (4) burners, each operating at 16,000 BTU. The plate is 1" thick, which helps hold heat well to speed up recovery and preheat. The splash guards on the sides and rear prevent any spills and splashes from escaping to nearby equipment and surfaces. Grease collects inside the stainless steel grease drawer, which can be removed for easy discarding.
The charbroiler comes with two (2) burners that add 32,000 BTU. It can cook meats to charred perfection to temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The stainless steel radiants evenly heat the cast-iron grates so you can make use of the entire cooking surface. These grates can be adjusted or removed to help you modify the setup for each recipe. The cast iron also helps with heat retention for faster cooking sessions. The charbroiler has a removable drip tray for simple maintenance.
This commercial range also has a 45,000 BTU convection oven with a standing pilot that has a temperature range of 175 degrees Fahrenheit to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. You can set the specific temperature for each recipe with the high-precision thermostatic controls. There are three (3) racks supplied with the unit that you can move up and down the five (5) side rails. The two-speed fan distributes the hot air evenly throughout the porcelain enamel cooking chamber to cook everything inside evenly.
The front of the cooktop is a 9.25" deep rail. The lining and burner make the unit more efficient with the full insulation. The 5" stainless steel flue riser helps maintain a safe and comfortable space for users by pulling the heat and smoke coming from the cooktop and oven towards the ventilation hood.
