If you’re looking for a compact air-cooled ice maker that produces cubed ice and can hold 36 lbs of ice and uses standard 115v/60/1-ph the Scotsman CU0715MA-1 Essential Ice™ Commercial Ice Machine with Bin might be the right unit for you. This ice machine with bin can produce up to 80 lbs of ⅞” x ⅞” x ⅞” ice in 24 hours. Cube ice is ideal for beverages since they’re large and slow melting.
The Scotsman CU0715MA-1 Essential Ice™ commercial ice maker is only 24” front-to-back, 15” wide, and 38” tall with the included 6” height adjustable legs which allows it to fit into places where you can’t afford to waste a square inch of space. This unit can fit under a 34” ADA countertop by ordering the optional KUFM15 floor mount kit which drops the total height of the unit to 31.9”. One of the key benefits of this unit is the front airflow, air is taken in and exhausted from the front of the unit. This allows this unit to have access to cool air and minimize the clearance it needs around it. Since the air intake is at the front of the unit, accessing and cleaning the air filter is a breeze. Being able to easily access the air filter promotes more frequent air filter cleaning which keeps the unit running optimally.
This unit sips power and water which can lower your utility expenses which adds up over time. To produce 100 lbs of ice only 11 kWh and 30 gallons of water are used.
