The Scotsman CU3030SA-1 Prodigy undercounter ice machine is designed to be a compact counter cuber unit that can store up to 110 lbs cubed ice. This commercial ice maker and storage bin is a self-contained air-cooled unit that, under the right conditions, can produce up to 313 lbs of half size cubes that measure ⅞” x ⅞” x ⅜” in the span of  24 hours. This particular unit utilizes standard American 115v/60/1-ph wall power. The unobstructed front airflow makes this unit well-suited for installation into tight spaces without airflow being a limitation. Having front airflow also allows the air filter to be accessible from the front of the device which allows operators to regularly clean it to make sure the machine is always running as efficiently as possible.

The use of Scotsman’s Prodigy ice cuber technology in this model allows it to benefit from features that were implemented based on many years of feedback gathered from users. The implemented features included in Prodigy ice makers optimize for usability and durability. Users can easily see the device’s status thanks to the AutoAlert™ control panel which features controls that anyone can intuitively use. The control panel tells operators when it is time to descale, sanitize, and perform various preventative maintenance tasks on the unit.

To extend the time between mandatory deep cleaning tasks, this model utilizes Scotsman’s patented WaterSense purge control system. This lowers scale buildup. When you need to go “under the hood” of this unit all major parts can be serviced from the simple to extract top panel and door. A diagnostic code display is included with the internal parts. This code display simplifies any troubleshooting or maintenance tasks being completed by the service crew.

The Scotsman CU3030SA-1 Prodigy undercounter ice maker meets ENERGY STAR® standards using only 7.35 kWh of power and 18 gallons of potable water to produce 100 lbs of cubed ice. This unit measures 30” front-to-back, 30” in width, and 39” in height (includes 6” legs of the height-adjustable variety). For more vertical clearance under shorter counters, the KPUFM30 floor mount kit can be ordered separately allowing the height of the unit to be just 33-½”.
