If your business is running low on floor space and you need to quickly expand freezer capacity, an outdoor walk-in freezer like the KODF46-C 4' x 6' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from Nor-Lake is a great solution. The inside of this walk-in unit offers 105 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

The panels that make up this walk-in unit are 4” thick with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation to keep the heat out. Each side of the panel has 26 gauge corrosion-resistant stucco embossed coated steel. The panels have male and female rails that mate together to ensure proper alignment during installation. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners provide an air-tight seal while a continuous panel gasket goes around the outer perimeter without breaks or cuts at the corners. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are not overlapped or mechanically fastened, instead, they are foamed-in-place so they don’t come loose.

This walk-in unit comes standard with a 26” wide door with a stepped profile that servers as a barrier to airflow. This door comes with two hinges both of which are cam-lift and adjustable. This allows the door to be easily adjusted over the lifetime of the walk-in as it settles. The door also comes with a spring-assisted door closer to make sure it’s never left ajar. The pre-hung door comes in a 4’ wide panel complete with magnetic stainless steel trim, vapor proof LED lighting with a switch connected to an external indicator light, perimeter heater wire (replaceable), and a digital thermometer. To keep the contents secure, this walk-in comes with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers never get locked in the interior of the door panel has a safety release.

To efficiently maintain a temperature as low as 10°F, this unit features the RCPF075JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System. It’s a top-mounted unit providing 2447 BTU/hr of cooling. Adjusting the temperature inside is made simple by the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system. This is also used for manual defrost and setting an automatic defrost timer. The 35 mill white membrane roof material included with this walk-in will protect it from the weather for years to come. The roof material is held in place by metal trim that is affixed to the side of the unit with self-tapping/drilling TEK screws.
