Does your business need an outdoor walk-in freezer to extend your frozen storage capacity? The KODF810-C 8' x 10' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is an extremely reliable model that will work for many years. The interior of this commercial walk-in freezer has 404 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.

The 4” thick panels feature 26 gauge steel with corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coatings on both sides. These panels have foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation and have an R-value of 32. For ease-of-installation, each panel has male and female rails that come together to ensure proper alignment. To maintain an air-tight seal between each panel foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners are used. A continuous panel gasket wraps around outer perimeter free from breaks or cuts at the corners. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are foamed-in-place to secure them for the life of the walk-in unit.

The standard door on this unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile that provides a barrier against airflow. For a more durable option, you can select the 30” wide door kit that comes with a stainless steel kick plate for free. This door comes with two hinges both of which are cam-lift and adjustable. This allows the door to be easily adjusted over the lifetime of the walk-in as it settles. The door also comes with a spring-assisted door closer to make sure it’s never left ajar. The door comes pre-hung on a 4’ wide panel complete with a vapor proof LED light controlled by a switch connected to an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and digital thermometer. Items inside are kept secure by the NL 9800 deadbolt handle that comes with an independent key/padlock feature. To keep workers from getting locked inside the walk-in a safety release is included.

The temperature inside this walk-in freezer reaches a brisk temperature of -10°F thanks to the ceiling-mounted RCPF150JC-S-4-EV  Capsule Pak Refrigeration System that provides 6120 BTU/hr of cooling. Adjusting the temperature inside is made simple by the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system. This is also used for manual defrost and setting an automatic defrost timer. Outdoor models come with metal trim to be used for flashing the membrane roof material to the side of panels. The roof is protected from the weather with a 35 mill white membrane roof material that requires no seaming or gluing. Trim is secured to wall panels with self-drilling and tappingTEK screws
