To efficiently store frozen items in bulk a walk-in freezer like the NorLake KLF7788-C 8' x 8' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker is your best bet. The interior of this walk-in has 372 cu. ft. of refrigerated space.
Each panel of this commercial walk-in freezer are 4” thick and comes with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish on 26 gauge steel for durability. The interior is filled with EPA-compliant polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation. To make assembly simple, each panel has female and male rails that overlap each other for a mechanically air-tight design. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners make sure that panels lock together tightly for a truly air-tight seal. The corners are protected by a continuous panel gasket that goes around the outer perimeter without any cuts or breaks. Each ceiling and floor panel has foamed-in-place edge caps that can’t come loose compared to those that are overlapped or mechanically fastened.
The door that ships standard with this walk-in unit is 26” wide and comes with a stepped profile providing a barrier against airflow. This door comes with two hinges both of which are cam-lift and adjustable. This allows the door to be easily adjusted over the lifetime of the walk-in as it settles. The door also comes with a spring-assisted door closer to make sure it’s never left ajar.
To make handling larger items easier a 30” wide door kit is available at no extra cost, it comes with a free stainless steel kick panel for added durability.
The door comes pre-hung in a 4’ wide panel with a replaceable perimeter heating wire, magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, vapor proof LED lighting fixture and a switch with exterior indicator light. The door can be secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle with an independent key/padlock feature. To prevent workers from being locked inside, a safety release is included.
A temperature of -10°F keeps items inside this walk-in frozen safely with a top-mounted RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System producing 5692 BTU/hr of cooling. The Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system sets the temperature inside the walk-in and also sets the automatic defrost timer. To remove the need for a drain line, an automatic condensate vaporizer is shipped loose with the unit and needs to be field wired.
