If your business requires a large amount of indoor freezer space the KLF7768-C 6' x 8' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker from NorLake is an excellent walk-in option. The 270 cu. ft. interior of this commercial walk-in freezer provides users with refrigerated storage options.

The 4” thick panels feature 26 gauge steel with corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coatings on both sides. These panels have foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation and have an R-value of 32. The panels have male and female rails that mate together tightly and are secured by foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners. Around the outer perimeter, a continuous panel gasket ensures an airtight seal without cuts or breaks around corners. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are not overlapped or mechanically fastened, instead, they are foamed-in-place so they don’t come loose.

This walk-in unit comes with a standard door kit with a 26” wide door with a stepped profile that mechanically restricts airflow. This makes cooling the interior much more efficient. The door comes with two hinges that can be installed on the right or left to best fit your needs. The two cam-lift hinges are field-adjustable to compensate for settling and come with a locking set screw. To keep cooling costs low, a spring-loaded door closer is included. Each door comes pre-hung in a panel that is 4’ wide and features a perimeter heating wire that is replaceable. Each door panel also comes with a vapor proof LED lighting fixture activated by a switch that has an exterior indicator light, magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. Products inside are secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle that has an independent key/padlock feature. To make sure workers don’t get locked inside each walk-in comes with a safety release.

To efficiently maintain a temperature as low as -10°F, this unit features the RCPF100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System. It’s a top-mounted unit providing 3444 BTU/hr of cooling. The temperature inside the walk-in is adjusted with the Enviro-Control™ electronic controller system, it is also used to set the automatic defrost timer. Drain lines are not required thanks to the automatic condensate vaporizer included with the unit. The automatic condensate vaporizer ships loose and needs to be wired in the field.
